i feel like the complete oppposite, if medic gets caught in a bad situation he either has to hope for a good surf or hope to god his team will help (in pubs they wont 9/10 times and tf2 doesnt have a functioning comp system), but in ow if you have good movement you can have better control over how you stay alive in my experience

also learning heal optimization as medic is super rewarding, one of my favorite tips is suprisingly, critical heals for new reinforcing teammates is just as important, if not even more so, than teammatse who are close to dying

because say 2 new guys arrive, crit healing those 2 before starting a fight is often more important than healing the 25% health guy retreating from the front line
