The world’s gonna be beautiful, the bosses will hopefully be well designed (regardless of if I find them hard or not) and most importantly we’re getting more metroidvania game design from the guys who made the best metroidvania of all time

boring bits go by faster, and the bosses are a little more fun.

the issue isn't difficulty, its consistency.
What ends up happening is AR is only a run ender if you get nervous, and you actually just lose your runs over and over again to a hit from galien, or MMC, or sly - and then you finish the run for practice, and that one hit was your only hit
