Y’know, I sometimes wonder about content creators/creative types in general, do they ever feel overly-obligated by their works?

Like, say your some content creator and you make some series or game or what be it that ends up being really popular; initially you’d prolly be amazed at being so successful, but then basically every interaction you have online might be every other person talking about specifically that popular thing, even when you’re trying to do a different thing. Or maybe people bringing it up even when relevant creative work isn’t being discussed. Like, your public identity becomes subsumed by that thing you made and whenever people bother to interact or think or talk about you it’s specifically in the context of the thing.

Maybe a bit of a incoherent ramble but y’get what I’m tryna say? I kinda think that whenever some creative type, particularly those who are relatively active and interactive, gets a large fan base of some sort, particularly in connection with a specific thing.
