In 2, a lot of the game is centered around characters having a proc coefficient that determines how likely or effective they are at proccing things like bands and on hit items.

Proc chains are like everything together, all the other effects proccing after another. Like Ukulele proccing AtG missiles. OG/Returns doesn't have that mechanic and instead focuses more on diversifying the items you have and stacking them.

600% is the magical number in 2 because that's what it takes to proc the bands and those are huge in 2's gameplay and builds.

And I am too!

The point I'm trying to make is that not everything is so clear cut, bad or good. There's layers of context and nuance. Not every item needs to be an AtG or a Ukulele. There are niches, there are uses.

I will admit there are items, mainly 2, like Bungus and Mitts who have no use or are a cute idea with too much of a niche that would 100% benefit from a change.

At the very least we can agree bungus and mitts are bad but I do firmly feel spike shoes fall in that category

Spike Shoes is a different breed I'd say that might need a buff but it is much better of an item than Bungus and Mitts due to how it interacts with other Survivor abilities. And that's okay to have!

And even then it works inherently off of the 2D platforming aspect of Returns
