4 percent chance with only 1, and only increases the more you have

but it also means not having the glasses which are important for bosses and killing grunts isn't generally the problem

Crowbars and bullets are also a thing for bosses, start off with the glasses and once you get five regular glasses, or corrupt them, switch between bullets and glasses, sometimes crowbars

Also in monsoon grunts are a big issue I deal with, bosses aren't much of an issue for me
