It has enough of the war with Howl taking part in it the drop ships destroying town, the rulers trying to involve Howl even further and it does have a big effect on the established relationships with characters but it just gives it all up with people almost instantly forgotten what war did to them when the prince magically appears out of nowhere like the plot moved with the war so how come the biggest question of "where is the prince" get solved instantly when the main plot resolves itself?
