Disco Elysium: Also a narrative game, but as a very deep TTRPG system - total amnesiac detective tries to solve a murder, the less you know the better.

SIGNALIS: Silent-hill style survival horror game, absolutely IMMACULATE atmosphere i was tense the whole fucking time - Lesbian robot tries to find her ship captain on a mining station, shit gets VERY psychological horror.

HADES: this one needs no explanation if you SOMEHOW haven’t played it you have to immediately, i doubt you havent but i still have to include it

Katana ZERO: Action platformer, pretty short but absolutely unforgettable experience — a samurai on a supersoldier drug that allows him to slow down his perception of time and forsee future outcomes Really Just Has The Roughest Week Imaginable.

Wizard of Legend: A pretty fun roguelike - this ones not particularly outstanding but it has a place in my heart. Just a nice fun time, plus it has local 2 player co-op if you have a controller and a friend

Hi Fi Rush: a Devil May Cry style spectacle fighter mixed with rhythm game elements. It isnt an indie game, but i have to give it an honorary mention for one of the most perfect gameplay/artstyle blends I’ve experienced its REAL good — the biggest failguy ever gets music-powered robot arm powers. EVERYTHING moves to the music. The writing is great and the

Ghost Trick: this one’s a puzzle game, real fun concept, the music is all bangers — a man named Sissel is trying to solve a murder: his own. As a ghost, he will disappear when the sun next rises, and he had no memory of his life before he died. Shit gets. very twisty.
