Sure that is an extreme exception, but even godrick, has that like, 6 move combo, which doesn’t have a bigger reward for dodging than all of it’s normal attack
I just feel like the boss design is too ambitious, and to make up for it they put a whole lot of bandages to make the game easy, summons, small health bars, generally pretty low damage and no one shot potential (for the most part) which makes most bosses not really satisfying to beat as your victory almost always seems underserved, because summons, because you just got a better pattern, or because you just had enough heals to literally never learn how to properly dodge a very hard to dodge attack, but for some reason didn’t have to dodge it

Another example comes to mind, that rot dragon, that like feels the screen with rot
He can either do that attack once, or spam it every so often making the fight much much harder
