There are randomizers without logic which will replace locations with just completely random stuff
But if you want the same "the whole map is rearranged and you need to find your way through to pick everything up" experience that the hollow knight randomizer has, to my knowledge there does not exist a silksong randomizer (though the same devs as the hk randomizer are working hard on one)

Yes, as long as the save is the same and the ItemSync server doesn't go down
Generally it is recommended to not try to do longer itemsync games if you can avoid it, two sessions over a weekend is alright, but donât assume a month long session will ever end
does alphabet rando work with any other languages
In theory it has support for custom characters if you supply the list yourself, but I haven't actually tested that beyond punctuation
should it work with languages that use the roman alphabet as far as there arenât unique letters?

It is designed for English and will not use duplicates so if you want like Spanish to use the letter A then you'll need to enable vowels

In some cases having them happen due to skips is fun but platforms are not as fun for it

"bench leg eater dream" does still have it's dreamnaileble hitbox i think,but bench rando stole the bench
stag "mawlurks" also apparently doesnt override the mawlurk (and infected bloon) notes
i guess i should also mention it may not override the transition right above it(you need some skips to get up above so maybe the problem is in those. i deffinetelly remember there being false negatives with that before)

Doing both walls & grass at the same time, it's pretty common for there to be some logic errors. With mapmod you can see exactly which blade of grass it's referring to, but it could very well be a false positve - in which case you can use debug to noclip to the check if you want to pick it up (and you may need to).

modders are hard at work on Silksong rando, all we can do is just be patient, its a big project as i think they want to have it up to par with HK's Randomizer
There is a hk ss randomizer, but with a lot of issues. It is basically No Logic Randomizer, and sometimes item checks just disappear. But it has a button to give a random item, so it works for me

Something funny. I had a Randomizer file all good. i deleted it while playing unmodded and started a normal file on it. now that thats completed i play modded again and it thinks the file is still a randomizer

Yeah, that's because if you delete a randomizer file without randomizer installed still, it doesn't know to remove the Modded Save Data file.
had a very interesting thing happen to me in rando yesterday
context: i had shade gates rando'd, and hunter's journal rando's
right mothwing cloak was at white lady's white fragment, but traitor lord shade gate was hunter's notes for killing traitor lord, so i had to get to HoG before i could get right dash xdd

You can get into Greenpath from Kings Pass with right claw

This is intentional most likely, as one of the setting that is enabled by Default is the Duplicate Item Penalty, which generally makes Dupes placed after all of the logical progression placements are done, meaning that they are normally "locked" behind the original

infection will open the lever to the left side of Mound, it enables an itemless skip to Fungal, and there's a really free enemy pogo to Blue Lake

btw, does anyone know if stallball is allowed in bingy ruleset, and, if so, if the topology rule applies, that would make the skip wcsable, which is way easier and would be a cool routing option after getting dive
the official hk bingy server does not allow stallball, but if you're running your own solo/private game then it's up to you and no one can stop you. They also tend to disallow wcs of any kind

I think you just might not have a great understanding of how the randomizer works. You said you were forced to do skips and cheat, but that's impossible, it never forces you to do that. And if you did cheat, that explains the softlocks.

Well if you try again, don't cheat if you're stuck, that only makes things worse. Think though it carefully, and if you are absolutely stuck, you can always ask here for help. RandoMapMod helps a ton too.

What does the completion setting for pantheons do in godhome rando? I tried reading the readme, but I don't fully understand what it does
Let me rewrite that: you can enable/disable checks for completing a pantheon:
*Normally
Shell binding
Charm binding
Nail binding
Mask binding
All bindings
Hitless
*If you turn off pantheon completion, there won't be any checks for just completing a pantheon normally.

It grants the completed state of a Pantheon, and placed a check for beating them. Getting that item will make the game believe you cleared P5, which doesn't do much. P4 completion item however is required to open P5

So a left access + obtained lever item wouldn't grant right access on its own

Hello everyone, I tried to download the randomizer, but mods arent working. I tried on Scarab and on Lumafly. I download all required mods
Verify that you are using the correct installer and patch!
- Hollow Knight recently updated. Until the modding tools are also updated, you need to make sure you're on the previous version (1.5.78.11833), available as a beta in Steam, with an installer such as Lumafly or Scarab.

If you mean floating around the character while you are playing normally, that's the Item Compass feature that points to locations in the room that have logically collectable checks

you can def get to cdash with just claw. Nosk I'm not sure, might need something additional like dash or a shade skip. In the rando section of the speedrun server there's a rando resources channel you can search by room to check

The logic inside the room depends on just the transitions, but the actual transition definitions have their own logic as well, which I assume accounts for the keys

I'd suggest installing rando map mod if you're unfamiliar with all item locations, it will display check locations on the map & whether they're in logic. The first 2 checks are in the room to the right of the lower crystal peak bench. The last I think might be in the room to the left of the waterfall bench

I recommend RandoMapMod to see them as pins in the map
I think my first rando run I didn't use map mod and ended up figuring out where checks were through a combination of the helper log and looking at the interactive map website

Orig is used whenever you impact an existing token after its defined to call its source definition (LogicOverrides)If defining it on the source you can't really use ORIG because there's nothing to look for

You can toggle the spoiler status in the options, visible on the pause screen. However, it's not usually recommended to turn spoilers on - just continue to get the checks that are in logic. And if you do want to look at spoilers it's generally easier to just look at the log

Do you have right dash? You can also try to corner correct
Corner correcting is when the game basically lifts you higher after dashing
So if you slightly miss the ledge,it just boosts you up,instead of having you fall. All you have to do is dash at the top of your wings
And if you're high enough you'll corner correct

We reset since it was right at the start, but I was just wondering if maybe we didn't need to without me waiting for both mothwing, then shade cloak?

Enemy Randomizer FAQ
Enemy Randomizer is the mod that randomizes Bosses and Enemies. It is considered in Alpha, so you may run into problems when using it, and having DebugMod installed is recommended.

I only want Bosses shuffled!
You can choose which enemies are shuffled in the mod's menu. The pins of the Enemy Randomizer channel has a list of the names of bosses, as well as a spreadsheet of all enemy names.
Can I use it with Randomizer 4?
You can, but Enemy Randomizer doesn't make changes to the logic, so it's not recommended to use Skips that are enemy related. Additionally, items that come from Enemies may not spawn correctly.

The mod itself would probably be Decoration Master, or possibly Architect
Both of those mods allow for "packs" to be loaded for them
hi, for some reason discord isn't letting me attach anything so i can't show it, but for some reason the grubfather reward chest just. isn't there. it is also (a) the only unchecked item/location in my rando, and (b) wouldn't have any rewards i could get anyway bc i have 11 grubs and i set the minimum grub reward to 15

Hey all - long one. Currently running my third seed with no skips enabled in logic, although I'm using some basic enemy pogos and such here and there. Random starting location is Greenpath and I've picked up dash and shade cloak. Only stags are Dirtmouth (door is closed) and Hidden Station. Map tracker is telling me I have checks in Fungal and Crossroads but I'm failing to see a path through to there. The Elder Baldur is blocking my direct path into Crossroads from behind. There are several closed gates in Fungal blocking my progress to what should be the first part of that area if I was playing vanilla. Took a really long route from the Stone Sactuary bench through Queen's Gardens via Fog Canyon and over the fall into Deepnest and then hit a block in Fungal where even enemy pogo skipping felt impossible. Any thoughts? I have a feeling I'm going to have a lage facepalm moment when someone tells me the obvious open route I missed but I've been staring for like 30 mins now and I'm lost lol. Can post screenshots too if needed
i think there are a few cliffs checks you can get with just dash before the two baldurs
not sure how helpful that is but it could be something

I have Mark of Pride but according to what I've read that shouldn't be required for Elder Baldurs with default skip logic. I've attempted the double fight with it a couple times now and that feels rough lol

The gate nearby can be bypassed by the next room with a few mushrooms iirc

Hi ! quick question ! long time since i do a rando , i just tried to enable the map , the option told me te do ctrl + , but since i need to do ctrl + to get + i cant enable the map mob with the check .. am i dumb or there is a way to open it manualy ?
the command to enable the map mod is ctrl + m, im not sure exactly what you are having trouble with
also in the pause menu there should just be a button you can click to enable it
maybe i did something wrong i dont remember having trouble with this years prior , cant get the map open , ctrl M dont do much either , i installed the pack mod for lumafly given in archipelago to play with some friend and cant get it
K just managed to open it , was looking in the f1 menu but it was in pause menue , the ctrlM still doesnt work idk why
Does anyone know a way to incorporate the grass randomizer mod into archipelago. It isnt an option by default.
Isthmus could do that, but from my experience with it, it is too outdated and doesn't allow you to join the apworld

I don't believe Isthmus is "outdated"?
It doesn't connect to AP though, it requires connecting to a HKMW server (so the HK players would just use Randomizer 4, but anyone playing a game that can't natively connect to HKMW would need to use Isthmus)
I know, I have got it connected to an mw server, but after the game starts, I can not connect to the apworld it hosts with any ap game
