Well in xbox the save your data in cloud which you cant access (or i dont know how to access) so that was save but because my data in %appdata%/ user/ locallow/ team cherry / hollow knight was corrupted so it wasn't showing me the world or Letting me save or quit. And if we uninstall and reinstalled the file in locallow wasnt changed for some reason so i just had to delete the file there and then reinstall

Custom Knight skin installation guide

🔺** Important:** Remember to have Satchel mod installed as its required to make Custom Knight work.
Remember to do this procces while the game is CLOSED.

🔹First download the skin you want to use.

• Skin drives:

•The skins do NOT have a preview yet, to see the skin, look for a showcase in YouTube.

🔹Go to your downloads folder and locate the skin folder you downloaded.

🔹Right click the skin folder and extract it, then open Scarab and click "Open Mods Folder" button.

🔹Move the extracted skin folder into the skins folder located in Mods/Custom Knight/Skins.

🔹Open the game, enter a save file, open the pause menu and click "Options" then "Mods" then "Custom knight", this will open a menu where you can select your skin.

Troubleshooting

-Skin is a white box.

Reload the game (Save and quit, close the game, open the game and enter the file)

-Skin stays at default

Make sure you do not have extra folders. The skin should be placed like this:
Mods/Custom Knight/Skins/[SkinFolderName]/[SkinImages]

-Custon Knight menu is missing

You might not be able to use that for gamepass, iirc team Cherry updated gamepass specifically to a version that most modders don’t have access to. You can check the version in the bottom left of hollow knight, if it’s 1.4.3.2, use mod installer 1 or 2. Otherwise use scarab, some stuff might not work though since gamepass has the weird version

steam detects the controller so its not that ithe controller is broken or smthng

The ModdingApi can cause controller issues for some reason. Something you can try is connecting the controller after the game has reached the title screen

Not sure what you mean by "modded skin archives", but there are skins that exist that

• modified more game assets than Custom Knight used to allow
• didn't use Custom Knight at all to, and just alerted files directly
