That I know how to do however I do not know how to then install mods to that patch so I can practise mor easily. hey, so how does the Scarab mod menu and modding in general interact with the steam cloud in terms of having a modded save file on one device but still wanting to keep a non-modded save file on both devices?

I want to keep my non-modded save file but I'm a bit worried as to how the cloud could interact with saving a mod, would my vanilla save file be fine as long as I don't load it with any mods or the modding API active?

Im not an expert or anything, but iirc you can keep one modded save in one pc and one vanilla in two, as long as you dont enter the modded one in the unmodded pc all should be fine, anyways you could also create copys of your saves just bc yknow
