so i've downloaded and set up scarab, i've installed current patch on steam, i've deleted the benchwarp, custom knight and api files from the save files (but there was only one custom knight file this time?) and now scarab isn't working with the game aka its not showing up in the corner

the save files were loading and music, it was just the modding not working with the game for some reason

so i have no clue what the issue is now

oh nvm i just refreshed the path for scarab and reinstalled the mods and now it's adapted to the current patch intallation

@pure finch Thanks for the response. We don't run transition randomizer. The only thing we have ever changed from the default settings in the rando was "miscellaneous: classic" for notch costs. As for the vanilla items, this is how the process usually goes. We double check we are using the same seed, profile settings, and then check the hash. We proceed, go into itemsync, join the same room name, and from there make sure "sync vanilla items" is highlighted. Whoever hits "Start Itemsync" at that point will see directional controls and the focus ability in the Recent Item mod while the other person only sees starting geo. When we go to the first lifeblood cocoon location in King's Pass, the person who hit start will see a item on the ground while the other still sees the cocoon. When the person picks up the masks it won't share. We then loop to Conifer, purchase his map and it also does not share. Then we finally go to the grubs above Crossroads Stag Station and these too will not share. This is the loop we would take each time when we were testing to see if it was a mod interaction that was failing or if it mattered who started the itemsync. Would you like me to DM you the mod logs?

and how do i make sure my save is in the cloud?

Save files are stored separately so deleting the game files won’t affect them, they’ll automatically appear in the other game

Ive been fooling around in my mods folder to try and get EnemyHPBar to start working again but it isnt working

The mod still shows up in the upper left hand corner of my start screen when i open hollow knight but no health bar over enemies
