You have a "default" skin that's chosen in main menu. It's default, by default. This skin is only used for when you start a new file.

Each file can have an alternative skin applied, but you have to choose it when the file is being played.

Mod that fixes getting locked in the pause menu

Sometimes exiting mod menu causes pause menu to not appear and the game to require a relaunch before you can do anything (some times benchwarp works)

while mapi is fixed, adding this mod and pressing f3 (changeable in settings) when you are stuck should close the menu and allow you to continue playing.

Hey guys, I've tried compiling modding api myself but no cigar (namespace problems). I cloned the git repo and it seems like it can't get access to unity (and other) namespaces. however when I develop games and open scripts from Unity editor it's all good. I'm a beginner in coding and have no idea what's going on

so when i try to install "Randomizer 3 (Item or Room)" it just starts downloading a bunch of other mods such as QoL, SereCore, Benchwarp, anything other than Rando 3, then it goes back to SereCore, and gives me an error message. I literally re-bought the game on steam just to use mods and they don't work. What may be the problem?

HKMP puts a copy of each player into each other players world. Enemies have separate health and can be in different places; items/abilities must be collected separately; breakable objects must be broken separately.

A player's attack will happen in each player's world, damaging any enemies/players it comes in contact with. A player is only hurt by the enemies in their own world.

Additional notes: Progress/Enemies/Bosses are not synchronized by HKMP. Due to how HKMP works, and the game not intending to be multiplayer there can be some odd interactions.

I downloaded some mods earlier and then got rid of them. I uninstalled them, and they don't show up when I load the game. I have also disabled the API. Yet I heal incredibly quickly, using up like no soul. I can't locate the mod file doing this. I would completely wipe my computer of Hollow Knight but I have a file with 347 hours played that I can't locate to backup.

Hmm, the only invisible boss glitch I know if is one for THK, which is more of a vanilla glitch amplified by mods. I believe if you have mods the general fix for THK atleast, is to to disable custom knight, something about using too much VRAM. Although I don't know if that'd work for other bosses
