I think those are bugs that were used in speedruns on 1.2.2.1 or earlier patches. I believe spore shroom hollow knight is a bug that makes it so spore shroom accidentally did full damage while THK is stabbing itself, or maybe it did extra damage or something, can't remember the specifics. Not really sure what crystallized mound spikes are but i imagine it's probably something you can pogo or such, but the spikes in the mound are still probably there

I installed Scarab and started doing a randomizer but instantly realized that all text is gone. I can't see my geo count, any dialogue, and I just get soft locked the moment I try to inspect something or talk to someone.

Even on my godhome save, my geo count is gone and when I interact with the pantheon, nothing appears.

I managed to fix it. Turns out I disabled something I needed thinking it was just a dependency for another mod I downloaded then disabled. I just re-enabled it and we fixed it.

I have a problem, whenever I press start in Hollow knight all my save files say "Loading" and they don't load and I cannot play, but when I disable mods they work just fine, and I used both mod installer 1 and mod installer 2 and the problem still persists. The game version is 1.4.3.2 and I play on windows and I only have 1 mod installed which is custom knight

One Mac person on HKMP needed to for some reason before their controller would work 🥴

I just tested this and it worked for me! Well maybe not completely, I already had the game installed and like 150+ hours played, so now when I launch the game from the xbox app I have my achievements in game, but when I launch the game from the .exe in the files I dont have the achievements but I have my 3 profiles in game saved. But well, is not a problem cuz I still can use the mod installer if I launch from the xbox app. I guess the only problem is that the game is from xbox pass so the version is 1.4.3.2, but I dont mind that. I had the games on switch and I wanted to try mods so this works for me and I wanted to report it

🔹Can I use mods on pirated/cracked versions of Hollow Knight?hollowpirate

No, Piracy is not something that is supported in pretty much any "main" community for a game, and that includes modding communities.

HK Modding is only supported on the official Steam version and the official GoG version.

🔸How do I manually install mods on scarab?
While most are on scarab there are some you may need to manually install.
-Download the mod .dll or folder
make sure you get the mod that is made for your patch a lot of times mods will have seperate 1.4 and 1.5 releases.
-Open scarab and click the open mods button.
-Move the mod you installed into the mods folder you just opened.
if you are on 1.5 and the mod you downloaded is a .dll then in your mods folder create a folder with the name of the mod and move the .dll into the newly created folder. In many instances the caps will matter when naming the folder. make sure it exactly matches the name of the .dll.
-Load the game and the mod will be there.

As of now Enemy Randomizer isn't on scarab and is a long way away from being ported to scarab or 1.5. If you want to play enemy rando down-patch to 1.4.3.2 and innstal enemy randomizer off of modinstaller 1/2
The most recent version of Randomizer 4 and is currently only on 1.5. The most recent Randomizer on 1.4.3.2 Is currently randomizer 3.
