Most commonly it's reccomended to move to Desktop, but most places that aren't Downloads are good

Enemy rando is currently only on 1.4 so you will have to down patch to 1.4 and use modinstaller 1/2 to get enemy rando. A guide to down patching can be found in pins.

Depends on what mods you are using? Generally speaking, yes. Mods are being developed for current patch, so there's little reason to use the older one for normal modding.

Randomizer was the biggest thing holding people back, and it's "officially" coming to Scarab this weekend, so the other mods that go with it will probably start moving over soon too

I'm using the scarab launcher and it works fine, I just can't put it on my desktop since when I do it won't open and another file appears on the desktop named “ModInstaller_Error”. I can pin scarab to my taskbar but when I restart my PC it won't open there either stating that scarab.exe has been changed or moved and therefore I can't open this shortcut. Is there any way to fix either of these problems?

You need to make sure that extracted the folder that contains Scarab, and then move that entire folder wherever you want.
Scarab needs the other files that are with it

Hello, I came here since I was having trouble with CustomKnight Mod. I'm using the ModInstaller with the Zote Face on it.

I had some other reskins by other people in my folder, so I went to make my own, copy-pasting the "Default" Folder the mod gave me to edit the sprites, but when I click the name of the folder that has the sprites in it that appears in the pause menu, it doesn't show up in-game.

earlier today my any radiance mod was working fine and my controller had no issues but after downpatching to 1221 through steam and updating back to 1432 any radiance's sword burst attack is now slow like absolute radiance's and there is a noticeable amount of input delay between my controller and input

I'm fairly certain that there are review sites dedicated to documenting common software

That being said, anything I look up on it appears to indicate that it's pretty trustable. The only "negative" thing I see is that it may not be as secure as other VPN methods.

That being said, if you're talking about it here, it's likely because you need it for VLAN, not VPN, and you're not trying to transfer private data over a tunnel. So it's pretty safe :P
