Hi so me and my friend decided to play hkmp but once he opened hollow knight, at the left corner, it said "HKMP: failed to load" and benchwarp didn't even show up, when benchwarpfix did

we are both on the latest version of scarab

Tell them to uninstall benchwarp fix, and uninstall and reinstall benchwarp. And for HKMP, I can't remember if it has dependencies, but maybe check that they have satchel, and then if that doesn't help, go to their save files and delete the HKMP global settings files

So uh I was doing watcher knights, and I eventually finished the fight won, got one of the seals for the egg in the center of the main place you spawn at, then suddenly when I try to quit the game won't let me it like plays the lil saving sound/exiting sound it also shows the icon but it doesn't let me quit, and when I close it via alt + f4 or via taskbar and re-open the game all the progress I made after my last bench save was completely deleted and I had to do it all over again.

Hi, when I run the ModInstaller.exe I get the following: "Couldn't locate Hollow Knight installation folder! Please use the button below to select it."
I have Hollow Knight installed via steam, and I also have the DRM-Free version from GOG/Humble. I can't seem to know where the Steam installation path is or get it to work when I select the GOG folder

Fwiw, port-forwarding is actually not the recommended way, nor is it the most common.

Using VLAN software (Hamachi, Zero Tier, etc) is more common and recommended, primarily because:

• You don't need to expose your IP to play with people (so, safer)
• Easier to setup, and doesn't require learning hardware/software specific methods.

Hi i was just trying to use modinstaller 2 and and it was working well before i got an external hard drive and downloaded it there with it having problems finding the directory, ive undone that and put it back on my main hard drive and it still cant find the directory and it wont allow me to change the location of it at all for whatever reason (already tried uninstalling both the game and modinstaller) any ideas to how to solve this?

Are you on 1432?
Assuming so, you may need to check your modlog like it says. I don't remember what library mods it needs, but you're probably missing those.
