Common advice:

  • Make sure the Scarab folder is unzipped
  • move the folder to Desktop
  • Double check that the path it thinks your game is installed on is correct, and is a legitimate copy of the game

You don't install any of the Mod Installers. They are just simple programs-- they don't "install".
If it's asking you for a path, then re-read the question it's asking: It is asking where you have the game installed.
That being said, it is recommended to keep the Installer that you're using on your Desktop. ||More specifically, don't keep it in your Downloads folder||

You probably should have mentioned that when I said "on 1.5 there's a menu to fix it" instead of just saying "it doesn't work" then >.>

On 1432 the only way change the button is to edit the Global Settings file for it in your saves folder. Unfortunately, this uses specific number codes, and I can't get the list for them right now.

Anyway, the reason I asked about 1.5 compatibility is that I always seem to spawn "under the map". There was one time I lucked out and actually got it to work but the game acted as if I had curses enabled even though I made sure they're not.

hey guys im having some trouble installing hollow point. i had hk on switch for a while then i decided to get hk on pc so i could try out mods.
i downloaded the 1.4.3.2 modding api universal, its in the same folder hk is in, downloaded the hollow-point mod off gethub and put it in the same folder.
I feel like the mod patcher isn't even working because when i open hollow knight there's no loading bar and the game starts as normal. does anyone know what i am doing wrong?
