Btw if you want to mod ver 1.5 you should be using scarab, if you want to mod 1.4 (some mods like randomizer haven’t been updated to 1.5 yet so that’s why some people use this one) use mod installer 1/8.7.1 or mod installer 2

I can't use custom text in hollow knight, specifically the Kakyoin one that comes with his skin. The skin works fine (I think, not sure if charms should change, but spells and inventory works) but I did what the folder says for it to work, and it won't change. I have the game and steam in english, thogh I had to change it in-game since there is no option for it. If any one could help, I'd appreciate it, couldn't see anything on googl or youtube

That's an issue with running out of VRAM. Custom Knight uses up a lot, and THK is often (nearly always) invisible for me with it on

You should only be getting mods from the official installers, which are in the pins of this channel pinknight
Scarab has Glass Soul.

Your Hollow Knight version needs to be the current patch, and it needs to be the official game from either Steam or on GOG Galaxy. Pirated versions will not work, nor will version from other vendors.

Since that was like that, I'm assuming the mod installer was looking in the wrong place.
Follow the instructions here: #archived-modding-help message
And afterwards, go to your steam library > right click HK > select properties > local files > browse
This'll open a folder, take note of the file pathing.
Open mod installer, if it says it detected a game file path, make sure it matches the one in the folder, if not say "No" and then manually lead it there

Something you can do is take the exported sprites with the boxes still on them and put them over the atlas, then remove the boxes when you're finished

I found the issue I was having here

There's a bug right now where if you back out of the menus by hitting B (or whatever your button is to do it), the game will freeze.

So instead, you gotta back out of the menus by actually selecting the Back options.

You would need to explain what is "not working".

Most commonly, people don't use the correct IP (host should be using 127.0.0.1, which should happen automatically; other players should be using the host's ZT ip , which the host can find listed as "managed IP".

Also make sure that the players are typing that IP in, not using copy and paste, because a lot of times there's an extra character that gets pasted.
