You need to download mod installer 2, make sure you're on patch 1.4.3.2, and then follow the instructions in the hollow point readme

So I went to launch Hollow Knight, it didn't load for some reason, I verified the game files and then launched the game with mods installed and enabled, but no mods were loaded in the game when I launched it... Not sure what's wrong... Using the 1.5 Scarab Mod Loader.

You can have both scarab and mod installer 1 and 2 at the same time, but don't run them at the same time. You can use mod installer 1 and 2 interchangably, but scarab and either mod installer won't work together because they're for different game versions, so if you open mi1 on 1.5 your game will stop working

After I switch to 1.4.3.2 and practice in hall of gods I cannot heal myself, reinstalling doesn't solve the problem
If I switch back to 1.5 and play with another save the problem goes away, but if I play with the save that used 1.4.3.2 mod then I still can't heal

you can greatly improve performance by turning fullscreen off and reducing resolution

I'm getting a similar error when I use either Scarab or the old installer (game version 1.5.something).
Scarab says:

Select the folder containing hollow_knight_Data or Hollow Knight_Data.```
I have reselected the folder multiple times and double checked that it contains hollow_knight_Data (which it does).
Does anyone know why this is happening?

well first off you should download either scarab or modinstaller from the pins

scarab is for 1.5 but it doesn't have all mods

if you download modinstaller you need to switch to 1.4.3.2, which can be done by opting into it in steam
