I have just downloaded the mod installer 2 for windows, and set my hollow knight version to 1.4.
However, whenever i enable any mods, when opening the game the 4 game saves that I have are simply stuck as "Loading..."
Is this a common issue? How do I fix?

I tried using the Multiplayer Mod found in the ModInstaller. My friend is trying to join my game and it is not working. I'm unsure
what the problem is here, because I've checked that the port-forward is working properly with a different game. I don't know what
exactly is wrong. We both have ModCommon installed, they have the MultiplayerClient installed, and I have the MultiplayerServer
installed. We have tried just about everything and I really have no idea what could be causing the problem.

I keep getting this: (UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module UnityPlayer.dll at 0023:7903ff60) when ever I try to play modded, it does it even though i have no mods. The game runs fine when the modding api is off, but comes up with this error message whenever I try to play modded.

I've searched through this channel repeatedly, but I can't get 1.4.3.2 to run for the life of me. It crashes before startup and gives me a unity access violation error, but all the instances of that in this channel were either never resolved, or resolved using methods that haven't worked for me.

I've already done a full uninstall and reinstall, cleared out my saves, and removed the teamcherry registry key that causes occasional issues. I haven't run the modinstaller file yet since reinstalling the game.

Any advice?

This is the third style of this error I've seen in 24 hours. Though they're always a bit different. The three things I've seen/heard that fixed them from looking at past versions,

start the game without a controller plugged in and plug it in on the main menu.
I believe it was being cause by a program called "Citrix" for one person, which seems to be a virtual cloud desktop or something according to google, so if you have anything like that maybe try uninstalling that.
The latest one that got fixed was a bit weird, the first thing they did was went back up to CP (Current patch) checked if the game was working there, which it was, and then downpatched using depot download instead iirc. If you don't already, install ModCommon, Vasi, SFCore, and SereCore and just never uninstall them because several mods use them and they don't do anything on their own. Then look for a button in the top left of the main menu that says [Load Enemy Randomizer], if it isn't there go to the options menu, and in the mods tab turn off then on enemy rando then restart the game

it's to ensure that if you've downloaded the installer somewhat recently, you get the fresh version from the link instead of your browser giving you the version that it has cached instead. It does nothing if the person doesn't have a cached download, but may be required for others.

You can either:

try mod installer 2 <#archived-modding-help message>
or, manually install the mods, which can be found in the Google drive folder of mods

Did you make a copy of the originals? You can reference the names there. I can't remember off the top of my head what the naming structure refers to, but you have two that end in 000, which might mean that one of those is the wrong one.
