did you check the readme?

You need to open the hollow_knight_Data folder, find the Managed folder inside, and move that into your Data folder and replace the existing one

me and my friend are playing multiplayer and he is the host and i connected via hamachi and we cant see eachother

First, make sure that both players have ModCommon and Multiplayer Client, but only the host has Multiplayer Server. Second, ensure that both players put in the hosts ipv4 and a port of 26950 and that the host connects to their own server before any client connects. Third, check that Hamachi isn't displaying any errors or a red circle next to either of your pc names.

Also, there's a better multiplayer mod that's not on the installer. If you want to try that out, or if none of that advice helps somehow, then here's the github for it as well as some extra information: https://github.com/Extremelyd1/HKMP

As the pinned message says, you essentially follow the steps, and then if you continue to run into issues, the players all basically have to restart the game each time there's an issue.
The Multiplayer mod on Mod Installer is very unstable, and completely stops working if anyone has an internet hiccups (and/or is on Wifi connection)

That's why River🤖 also linked HKMP

Because HKMP doesn't have those issues

Yea, infinite load screens are a thing. It can happen in vanilla and I'm not exactly sure the cause or the fix. But press alt + f4 (for windows atleast might be something else for mac) to force close the game and try to launch it again. If it keeps occuring you might needa try somethin else

Make sure you have ModCommon installed and enabled (it'll be in the top left corner of the pause/main menu). Then make sure that your skins is in the right spot and structured correctly (screenshots of inside the skin folder with the file path showing would help). But it should match something like this:

Note that the folder with the pngs is directly in the customknight folder. Also, some skins have a different install method so if any of em have "hollow_knight_Data" inside it instead of pngs then let me know

So I downpatched to 1432 and installed some mods and skins, everything was working fine up to Hornet 1. I decided to try out Daughter of Hallownest and reset the save, then suddenly I was having a horrible time with dropped/lagged/held inputs. I removed DoH, verified files, still same issue. I completely reinstalled and went back to the setup that was working fine before and still no luck. Only going back to current patch fixed the input problems. Is this a known issue? Are there any workarounds or ways to fix this? It wasn't just a dropped input here and there, it was nearly impossible to do even basic platforming in King's Pass.

hi, i'm trying to disable most of the functions of the qol mod (i really only want salubra to be quiet), i saw something mentioned about a file i could edit to do that, but i couldn't find anything that matched the description. does anyone know what i need to look for to do that, or if it's actually a thing i can do with that mod?

Yes it is, you need to navigate to the Qol.globalsettings file, it can be located in your save folder which may be awkward to access. Are you on windows?
