i think i have a mod where that mostly works (save edit to 1 mask needed). but you could also use the glass soul mod, afaik that replaces fury with something else

Hi. I used the Hollow Point mod, which messed with the Soul functionality. I followed the pins by downloading the fix dll and installing it and it works fine. I'm just wondering whether I need to keep the dll installed or now that the fix has run I can delete it? It's not a problem either way, but would like to know 🙂

If you want to go back to vanilla and 1.5 then verify integrity and set the steam option back to none. But if you want to use mods you have to be in 1.4.3.2

Downpatching to 1.4.3.2 doesn't do anything to your saves, make backups still but it's not necessary, but mostly make them if you're going to use mods

Uhh, I don't know what could cause that. Unless you mean it's infinite soul and you can't heal because that's usually caused by hollow point

No, it's because of a certain mod I downloaded. There's a list at the top left, it should be one of them.
I know this because I'm playing a game with only the Pure Vessel at Path of Pain mod and I can collect soul just fine on that one.

There's a procedure in the pins, but I suggest you instead use this other mutliplayer mod called "Hollow Knight Mutliplayer" or "HKMP", it's works better, is more stable, and has a support server. Would anyone be willing to help troubleshoot difficulties starting a multiworld? I was able to run one a few days ago, but I'm not able to get this one going.

Main issue is, player 2's game doesn't start when I start the seed. And when player 2 is the one to start the seed, nothing happens at all.

Running the server on my PC. Port is properly forwarded and the server.exe is allowed through the firewall.

I'm not too familiar with multiworld. But from the sound of it player 2 is missing something, maybe a dependency, maybe they haven't turned off their firewall, or maybe they're using the wrong ip or something

I have checked that they're using the correct IP. I double-checked that the proper dependencies are installed, and I had them completely disable the firewall for the time being and still no dice.

It's weird. No idea what's keeping it from cooperating.

Hollow point changes values like that that are stored in your save file. If they are stored in your save file then it doesn’t matter if you are modded or unmodded

If it's a separate install that's not being launched with Steam, then it's possibly that Steam was fixing your controller inputs previously.

Idk about when using multiple separate steam installs, but I added the hollow_knight.exe from GoG as a non-steam game to allow me to use some of Steam's controller features.

Make sure you're launching the correct version (1432), then try deleting the WeaverCore global settings (same idea as the "Benchwarp Fix" in pins)
