Been trying out Multiworld.
Multiworld itself has been running great, but RandomapMod seems broken with it, checks either not showing up/being cleared/being where they should be.

Is this normal for multi, and if so, what do people use instead to keep track of checks?

You can also always view your RandomzierHelperLog.txt which is in the same folder as your saves.

You're going to need to free up disk space.
Computers need a decent amount of "working room" in order to do things like update.
You can use things like CCleaner by Piriform to easily clean up temp folders.
If you have a lot of games installed, you may want to uninstall ones that you're not actively playing.

The dev who works on it has been busy with other life things.
They were originally holding off on pushing the current version to their GitHub until they could figure some stuff out. I would assume at this point that they are probably going to wait until they can get it updated to the most recent rando stuff (such as Lore Tablets), and then get in setup for 1.5.

You'll need to clear up space first though. Once you have some space cleared up, then you can use Steam's "Verify Integrity" to fix your current install. Then check what version it's at.
If it's on 1.5, then follow the pin to change it to 1432

WHere do I find the error reports for the modloader? I take the modloader is the reason everytime I try to open Hollow Knight I'm given this for Hollow Knight to then crash a second after opening considering this only happens when I'm using the mods.

I think you're missing a dependency, I believe it's vasi but i might be wrong

There's a procedure in the pins, you do need hamachi unless you port forward which is far more complicated, and only the host should have the "Multiplayer Server" mod, but both players should have the client mod. Also I believe HKMP is a more stable multiplayer mod but it's not on the installer yet. https://github.com/Extremelyd1/HKMP

You're supposed to play on a save you created before installing HollowPoint, delete the save. close the game, uninstall the mod, launch the game and make a new save, close the game, reinstall the save

So i checked modinstaller bcuz i wanted to play hk! Im using teh newest version! Before that this weird glitch havent ever occured! Now the modinstaller said the modding API was out of date so i clicked on it and it updated but after that this weird loading screen just appears and the game doesnt want to open even if i dont use any mods(except modding API which i cant unuse bcuz then the modinstaller just closes and nothing happens) Does anybody know wth is going on and how can i fix this?

the file permissions are above admin level. you cannot modify them. YT won't help. The only way around this is to load up linux on your windows machine and do it that way to circumvent the permissions

so i uninstalled some mods and my game was working great for a while, i could even play room rando without any freezes, but suddenly it started freezing a LOT. i uninstalled custom knight and it seems to be working fine now. has anyone else had problems with custom knight? i really like the mod and it's disappointing i can't use it, and i don't really understand why it seems to be causing so many problems for me as i have a pretty high-end gaming laptop that can handle a lot

customknight has a minor performance hit on machines, but nothing that would cause game freezes unless your machine is overheating or something

to be fair i haven't tried everything yet. at this point i have benchwarp, bonfire mod, exhaltation, infinite notches, qol, unofficial hollow knight patch, randomizer 3, randomapmod, and then modcommon and vasi for the mods that require them

also try this, remove all mods and only use customKnight, kill vsync if you have it on and then see if your performance still dips. then add one mod at a time (in the order you enjoy most > least) till your performance drops again.
