In rando? Some examples are getting the goam mask shard in crossroads (without claw/wings) by pogoing on a vengefly, getting the simple key in city storerooms (without any movement abilities) by pogoing on a flying sentry, or getting to Broken Vessel (without mantis claw) by pogoing on shadow creepers. Turning the setting on doesn't mean you'll definitely have to do a skip like that, but it just means you might.

I need help with the Custom Knight mod. I installed it with ModInstaller, and it shows up on the list of mods in-game, but I can't figure out how to change the skin. I thought you just press esc and change it there, but no skins are showing up when I press esc. This is where I've put the skin folders, which seems correct based on the video tutorial I watched:

I have two Questions:

Does anyone know why a mod would not show up for someone on ModInstaller? For some reason a friend of mine isn't seeing Geo Tracker on it, even though he had had it enabled from there before.
Does the maintainer of BingoUI plan on incorporating Geo Tracker in the future? It seems like at this point there's not much reason to have them separate.

you can try other programs like joy2key, there's also a controller setting in game which i think needs to be off

it actually should crash your game if you have mods insatalled while having a controller in, if that happens just unplug and wait til you get to main menu then plug it in

Steam allows you to do a sort of digital input mapping that I use. In Big Picture Mode you can go into controller settings, and have steam force games to use the controller with Xbox controller inputs. Then go to your game, and make sure the game's settings have you use the global setting- and then launch your game (with the controller plugged in).

This should cause a toast message to pop-up when you launch the game, that says that it's using the controller settings.

AFAIK, the whole reason that Steam did the controller stuff with Big Picture, was to help with Linux compatibility for when they were trying to get Steam Machines to be a thing. It's weird to me that it isn't working on the Linux version sadcowgrub

Hey slight question. I play HK in windowed mode, and it works well. The thing is when I start using the mod loader, playing in windowed mode means I am able to click outside the window, something that was not possible in vanilla HK. This would be fine, but the game doesn't pause if I click outside the window leading to deaths that can't be controlled. Is there any way to mitigate this without resorting to full screen.

That skin is weird; if you want all the text changes and stuff, you have to copy all the files over your vanilla files or something. If you just want the sprites, find the folder which has knight.png and such and put that in your regular custom knight folder

And you need to use the CustomKnight.dll included with the skin if you want it to do charms, I think

F2 generates the atlas files, then F3 will generate a notepad file.

You can edit the notepad file to only generate the discussion animations you want to change, then press F4 to generate the individual PNG files for each animation. It sorts them into folders, then you just open those PNG files like you would any other series of images in Krita

Sprite Packer is what will convert the individual PNG files that you created back into those atlas files, putting everything in the right place

#

You could do that but manually, but you would need to figure out which image is tied to which bit of which animation.

i'm having problems setting up the multiplayer mod

me and my friend connected, and it was working for a while

but when we got to Dirtmouth and were waiting for another friend, the mod stopped working correctly

uhh hi im quite new to modding

i was foolish and struggling with pantheon of the sage

so i turned on easy mode and it was way too easy so i decided to try uninstall it

but the fast heal has stayed and i'm wondering if anybody knows a fix

i've gone through a bunch of files and stuff and deleted anything to do with mods etc.

but it's still retaining the fast heal

#

verified game files etc.

uninstalled/reinstalled on steam

i didn't back up my files before modding which was my first mistake but i can't go back on that

What do you mean by high-end? Have you updated your graphics driver? With nvidia cards, you can press alt+r and switch the stats to advanced to get a decent amount of info on what's going on
