i got the mod installer in and i tried to get the custom knight mod working but it just showed the loading bar and crashed. my pc made a push notification sound when it did but no pop up appeared.

GeForce NOW is just cloud gaming iirc - you can sync your library and play games without having to download them - but yeah, you won't be able to use mods like that.

if you have the newest modding api, you can edit a value in the moddingapi.globalsettings.json in the saves folder to adjust how many scenes get loaded at once (default value should be like 5 or so)

Hey guys, new here and sorry if noob but could anyone help with a problem installing the mod installer? Im a console player mainly but downloaded HK through steam, current patch etc, but when I download the mod installer and run it I just get the message "unable to download mod list" with 'retry' and 'abort' as options. When I click retry I just get "the request was aborted, could not create SSL/TLS secure channel" does anyone know how to get around it? Again sorry if asked before or wrong channel etc, like I say I'm usually a single player console gamer so don't really use discord too much.. thanks :)

To heal, you need to charge up your adrenaline to max (3 points), while at its maximum, your adrenaline can still charge albeit at a slower rate. During this, damaging and charging while at full power will grant you 1 mask instead, that means you can heal yourself back from 1 mask to full as long as you keep doing damage at max adrenaline charge.

Downloaded modinstaller2 from pinned messages here but they don't seem to install in the same way I've seen in videos as the first one does. Okay thanks got it working, the issue was although they were checked, in modinstaller2 modding API had it's own box that said out of date and it was placed out of alphabetical order at the top, but on clicking it, it moved to the right place alphabetically and now works. Thanks for the help

If you have Hollow Point on, you shouldn't be able to focus to heal.

If you have turned it off and can't heal anymore, download QoL mod, open the file with the problem, close the game. Navigate to your saves file (?saves if you don't know where that is) and there will be a file named "userN.JSON". That is the file you need to edit.

Delete all of your mods stuff, then verify integrity of game files for hollow knight in Steam or GoG. Once you're back on vanilla, then try downloading mod installer 2

I got it to work

so what you have to do is go into every file and extract the one with the actual skin you can't just put the skin with everything on the folder into the file but you have to take the one with all the assets then put that one into custom knight folder and it should work
