so i'm thinking about installing the mod loader for randomiser (and maybe customknight). I just wanted to ask how it would affect me getting steam achievements (as there are some i would still want to get on my main file, and wouldn't want to lock myself out of getting them). will any mods invalidate me for achievements and if so will turning them off make it ok again?

I've found a bug. I installed the Mod installer for Hollow knight and I tried to disable the mod that I installed (which was Hollow Point) after that my focus was MUCH faster (I did not have any charms equipped to boost my focus speed). How do I fix this? I tried to re install the game but the bug is still there.

go to save files
locate userX.json (with X being the save slot number from 1 - 4)
ctrl+f "focusMP_amount"
set the value to 33
if you don't have the QoL Mod:
https://bloodorca.github.io/hollow/
go to save files
locate userX.dat (with X being the save slot number from 1 - 4)
upload that to the website
ctrl+f "focusMP_amount"
set the value to 33
download encrypted (PC)
rename it to the original name (will be downloaded as user1.dat, rename if you want slot 2, 3 or 4 to be edited)
put it back to the save file folder

Hey, can anyone explain to me how the hollow knight binary on linux has been built / distributed? Since I've found .dlls I thought we were talking pure dotnet, but the hollow_knight.x86_64 is a 32M large ELF file appearently compiled with GCC.
I want to understand how these two things are even able to interplay.

Yes, i flipped it and the name on the statue was changed from hornet sentinel to daugther of hasllownest, but the fignt was the same

After testing the other bosses, i found that daugther of hallownest and Crystalbobbles had names changed but not the fight, Inferno KG worked perfectly but the others didnt even change name

(Playing on Mac) I recently started trying mods for the first time and started having the occasional issue where a frame would drop every few seconds. Initially restarting the game helped, but it started getting worse and worse. I turned all the mods off, deleted them from the saves, and tried the game again, and it semi-solved the problem, but now the game is just lagging overall. I have tried restarting the game, restarting Steam, restarting my computer, reinstalling the game, replacing my saves with backed up saved from before I used mods, verifying the game files multiple times through steam, everything. I have absolutely no idea what to do. My video settings are the same as they've always been. I'm baffled and really, really irritated. Does anyone know what might have happened and how to fix it?

why does my game break every time I use the mod installer. when I try to open my game, the save files have disappeared. Only the first save file has writing in it, and it only says 1. and is otherwise completely empty, and all of the other 3 save files are completely empty. What has happened?

I can see my friend on the multiplayer mod, however I cannot see them moving. Apparently they can see me moving just fine
I have server and client, they have just the client mod. We both have hollow knight on Steam and play it from there
They're abt to try re-opening the game on their end, we'll see if it helps aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

They do not, but your partner can hit your enemies.

So if you tell your partner where an enemy is they can hit it for you, or during a fight they can hit an event by accident or whatever.

I can't find anyone else who experienced this issue, but after taking a break from the game, the mods don't work anymore. It's that whenever I start the game the mods just aren't there. I tried reinstalling HK, manually selecting the games' files with mod installer and checking if the mods are actually there, but nothing is working so far. I'm on windows 10 and using the latest version of HK for specification.

Unsure if this is possible but is there a setting for the Twitch mod that lets you disable certain ones or lower their duration? I'd prefer lower duration because 30sec float is kinda... Well it got me killed a lot in my stream last night hah.

Just found the blacklist command. Just curious about lowering float duration or certain ones. So people can still use it but it isn't like.... a gameover when it happens. Don't wanna be a buzzkill but still wanna not die to one command hah.

Hey, I used modinstaller on linux to install DebugMod and the installation appeared to work, but my controller does not cause any reaction. Is this a known issue?
Keyboard works fine; I get the version numbers of ModAPI and DebugMod on the top left and the debugmod interface in the game, but the Mods entry on the menu is empty when I navigate to it.

Question, is it possible for the Randomizer or Qol mods to cause percentage to be missing? I was trying to get 112% on a randomized save and as far as I can tell the only percentage I should be missing is the 4% from the Pantheons (I checked the Completion wiki page).
