Context:
I had initially envisioned an area deep below the kingdom of asphodel where a vast void sea thrashed about, but it felt too out of place, so I made it its own kingdom.
This kingdom, known to those who live there and near it, as Tartarus, holds the most hostile environments in the entire region of twistspire. Pitch black, only the hardiest of organisms can survive down here. Out in the distance, a seething bubble of pure dark energy, presumably made to hold an incomprehensibly powerful entity, hangs completely still, suspended by uncountable numbers of chains.
Yet still, a few settlements can be found, such as the old king's settlement, which is home to the blind spiders and many of the king's loyal devotees.
Even in a place where light refuses to penetrate, life can still, somehow, find a way to survive.

I tried going for a less obvious approach of using the Pure Vessel or the False Knight and made it a Kingsmould. I also used a Berserk model for the drawing and i think it's really cool 😎👌

This was a pretty tricky topic to overcome as they aren't many knots in Hollow Knight lol. But, after thinking about it for a bit, I remembered this scene and it all just clicked. I also experimented with some ink blots around the page to convey void in the scene which was fun. Although I did get some spots on my clothes.

2 of those happened to be a warrior bug and a weaver. In a place like hallownest, they would try to kill each other, but here, they would work together to the point where they would tolerate each other and become friends.
Although their abilities might seem contradictory at first, but they actually complement each other more often than not.
Friendship really knows no bounds.

Morchella the fungal granny! An npc idea I made for fun. You'd save her from various situations she somehow got herself into, afterwards acting as a free heal in that location without needing to go to a bench. Also, if you save her in every location, she's revealed to be an important and beloved elder of the mushroom clan, and the fungal warriors become neutral to you (as long as you don't attack their babies, which aggros them for obvious reasons) as they are thankful to you for saving her.

Yesterday I had to attend a school dance with my date and it was a lot of fun, but it took up a large portion of my day :( Fortunately, i came up with the genius idea of mixing both yesterday's prompt with this one in a flurry of creativity and terror. I had a lot of fun not only at the dance but listening to spooky music while making this double prompt drawing. I am back to regular schedule however, although if you'd like me to do more double prompts or just some things that are similar to this let me know! Also if any of you are a bit skeptical on if i broke my streak, worry not as i did draw some cute hollow knight sketches on a napkin at the dance, unfortunately it was on a napkin that later was lost to the infinite void that is a school dance.

Day 15: Storm
After deliberately building the Radiance statue to begin the infection, the lone moth ran off to ensure it wouldn’t be captured and subsequently killed.
Along their travels, they noticed a burning flame upon the horizon. It beckoned to them, and as they got closer, they begun to see visions of their past.
Upon reaching the fire, they realized that the lone wisp was a flame of remembrance, used as a sort of window into the past. Seeing it as another defense mechanism for the Radiance, they took to protecting it.
However, they inevitably fell mad to its power, violently attacking and killing all who come too near, sometimes starting tempests to keep threats of the fire at bay.
In an attempt to remember the Radiance, they ended up forgetting about it and began to worship the fire as some kind of god.

The thieves of the desert were truly the most brutal beings in the whole kingdom, so dangerous, in fact, that any entry into their domain would've meant certain doom.
Or so the king would tell you.
In reality, the thieves weren't necessarily thieves, but instead, more or less the same as the bugs that lived outside the desert. If anything, the bugs that lived inside the kingdom were more brutal than those who lived in the desert. They only got that name because the king had feared the power of their leader and wanted to make a bad name for the desert dwellers.
Their culture was also very rich and didn't involve warfare, despite how military they might've seemed to be at times. Every year, on the same day in the same month, all of the desert dwellers come together and have a sort of potluck for their entire tribe.
Despite living in a literal wasteland, the varieties of food they bring and the diversity of flavors presented there are completely unrivaled by anything anyone else could make.

Back in days gone by, the bugs of this kingdom believed that the night sky were the wings of a vast cosmic moth, its size and power unrivaled by any other organism that ever existed. This worship continued through the ages, and they were right; A vast moth did indeed govern the great space above.
However, as it was with every god, with the advent of science and technology, they quickly realized that the vast arms of the galaxy were burning balls of incandescent nuclear soup, not unlike the one that they saw in the day sky. As the scientific progress of the kingdom advanced, the god began to fade away to nothing, with only a sliver of its power remaining after a few hundred years.
Even now, it is still waiting for a worthy challenger for it to do battle with, in order to regain its lost power and take to the night sky once again.

A long time ago, there lived a crazed writer, living in the far reaches of Tartarus. They were a mysterious figure, being almost completely unreachable, and, even if you did manage to meet them, the odds of returning were questionable.
When the void rampaged through the kingdom, twisting and writhing through the once populous caverns, turning them into desolate tunnels, they stumbled upon the home of the writer. The void imparted an important part of it into the writer's body cavity, staining them pitch-black and forcing 4 long, sturdy legs to grow from their shoulders to protect the writer.
The void may have done this so that they can protect their form, making a sort of "Horcrux", which still being able to wreak havoc in other parts of the kingdom, while the key to defeating them lies deep below the surface, in a place where no-one would dare enter.

The burning lord of Elysium, in their time, was not to be trifled with. Their very presence was said to have scorched the very ground around them. They were, without mincing words, one of the strongest warriors in twistspire.
However, everyone dies eventually, and, in the case of the burning lord, they were extinguished in a rather uninteresting and quite mundane fashion.
As time went on, the amount of recognition that the hero had declined, and so did the amount of respect that they had garnered. Too weak to do anything, they begun to slowly cool off and assimilate with the wind furiously blowing around the caverns.

The spider warrior was one of the most esteemed and powerful knights during their time. They were widely respected for their kindness and valor across the entire kingdom, and were even appointed by the king to be one of the most important knights in the kingdom.
However, they eventually died due to natural causes, and, as the people who once knew about them died out without passing on the stories of the hero to their children, the spider warrior was eventually wiped from history, being only a lingering memory in the few former insect queens around the kingdom.
