Decided to make Hornet out of clay! Took a few weeks(somehow) to finish lol. How y'all like it!

Materials: air dry clay to make head and cloak, toothpicks to make legs paint to color the head, cloak, and legs, a torn up cotton ball for the underside of the cloak, and glue to ensure the legs and cotton ball stay in place, and a marker for the eyes.

(Btw I was holding a toothpick stabbed oh Hornet's back to hold her up for the picture. She didn't wanna/couldn't stand on her own lol)

Hey guys!! This post is a few hours late, but it's also a special one. This composition marks the (roughly) HALFWAY MARK of the HK Art Month! I've had so much fun covering OSTs from the HK and SK soundtracks, as well as making some original content of my own. I hope you all have enjoyed! For day 16, i will be doing my own cover of Red Memory from the SK soundtrack.. except these are LIVE INSTRUMENTS being played by YOURS TRULY (me lol). Day 16 and the halfway point of #HKAM26, Memory! We've come so far, and farther still to go! Here we have First Sinner and NKG dancing together! I'm pretty sure that First Sinner is a memory fight (could be wrong, tho) and the reason why it's Nightmare King Grimm and not Troupe Master Grimm is because dreams/nightmares and memories seem to work pretty similarly in Hollow Knight, so Grimm used his Nightmare powers to slay with First Sinner! (not hetslop, queer platonicness)

Though fascinating, this doesn't seem quite the right place for the Lantern as sand isn't great for building...the background feels a bit empty, but I think that's the point. There is nothing here anymore. Can you spot the Memento?

The Disgraced Performer. This Vessel had pursuits that made it seem odd amongst the siblings, it wanted to get out not to be The Vessel, but to perform. So naturally, once the Pale King left it snuck out but the other creatures of Hallownest saw it as a new way to feed. Luckily for it though, it was picked up by the peculiar Grimm Troupe. It lived amongst the Troupe with them, going from place to place after Hallownest. I made the mask a bit like Brumm's with the little lines on the mask.

Day 22 of #HKAM26, Shellwood! Purely accidentally that I drew the 3 Old Hearts during the month. Cool coincidence! During Grimm's journey throughout Pharloom, he discovers Nyleth's shrine! What a strange creature...is the shrine technically in Grand Gate? Yes, but it's literally the crown of Shellwood and visual & sound design imply it's Shellwood, so whatevs. Don't love how Grimm's face and the light source look, but other than that, very much like it!

This little Vessel is the MossHider, it escaped the abyss and was unaware of the Pale King's death, so in it's way to not ever be found by him, left to Greenpath and wears the green moss found there to be able to hide at any point of the area. It rarely ventures out of Greenpath, maybe to The Queens Garden, but the mantis' that reside there make it a less than ideal space to explore, no one wants to loose an arm.

The mantis knight, this Vessel wandered it's way throughout Hallownest before realising it was trapped in Deepnest, so it followed the creatures of the Deepest Corners, and saw them being swiftly dealt with by the Mantis tribe. The usually stubborn tribe that hated any outsiders saw this wasn't infected, or a dangerous native of Deepnest, so just threw it to the Lords who took it in as an honorary member of the Mantis Tribe, however, they saw it's face was similar to Hornet's, so assumed it could also use silky powers like her so gave a special needle/nail to use, the vessel trained to fight like the mantis tribe, quick and elegant. It took over the job of defending the tribe from the monsters that lurk just outside in Deepnest and learned to utilise it's voidness (like the Pure Vessel's tendril attack thingy) to better hold them off. big lore

Day 24 of #HKAM26, Abyss! I originally wanted to make a 2-minute animation featuring Grimmchild and the Shade Lord, but that's obviously impossible to do in 2 days, so I made this instead. Hopefully the emotion is portrayed well! I was kinda sad while drawing this ngl...So, the backstory is fairly simple. After a long journey full of tragedies and triumphs, the Knight eventually...dies after the ending of either Dream No More or Embrace the Void. In this drawing, either is fine, but I would prefer EtV because it makes the journey that much longer. Grimmchild and the Knight are sharing their final goodbye. The transparent figures to the left represent how long they've been together and what they've been through. Still plan on making that 2-min animation, just not for HKAM!

also I drew this back in April. Grimm is easily my favorite boss in the game, both in looks and in fighting style
