I felt like the steel soul game mode had potential lore wise, so i made this vessel. Not much lore for him except that he can't return to the void once the radiance is defeated (because of the steel stuff) resulting in increased aggressiveness from it. Despite his goal, he holds a strong hated for any higher beings due to his childhood being spent serving and being abused by one, that’s his reason for becoming one, bowing to be a kind and giving god to every common bug. He is self absorbed and confident but he’s still kind despite that, bowing to repay anyone who helps him once he becomes a god and helping people often, even if it’s partially to serve his ego. He unsuccessfully tried for years to hijack any ancient magic or technology he found to modify himself until he found a godtuner, he studied it and modified it to take people’s powers. His main goal now is to steal the energy of a higher beings and become one himself, who could that be?

This is Storm, the son the Pale King and Monomon. He isn’t treated as a Prince (as Hornet is a Princess, technically in similar position as him) and he doesn’t treat himself as one either.
Similar to Soul and Silk, his mana is Electricity. Lightning Lance deals damage and slows enemies down with an attack similar to Silk Spear. Thunder Storm strikes enemies around him, Speed Boost increases move and attack speed, and Volt Charge is just a durational Grubberflys elegy with slowing.
He’s also besties with Hornet

The Void Monitor a looming entity that stands guard over the depths of the Void, silently watching everything that stirs within it.

Misjudged Vessel

Made to contain the Radiance, this Vessel was nearly perfect — silent, still, and obedient.
But one eye glowed orange, a tiny trace of self. That flaw convinced the King it was unsafe, and it was thrown into the Abyss.

Changed by the Void

The Abyss did not erase the flaw.
It fused with it.

Black half → true Void, empty and endless.

Orange eye → the part that refused to disappear.

Instead of hollow, the Vessel became balanced between light and Void, something no other Vessel achieved.

Now

During the events of Hollow Knight, it wanders the deepest ruins, wielding a crude weapon made from fused shell fragments — forgotten, but possibly the only Vessel that could have endured forever. Been a while since I posted here
