yes, they do that (thats what the strategy in the video takes advantage of), but its much harder to perform pogoing compared to ||wings|| bait or ||dash slashes||
add mental that will inevitably exist at the end of ||p5||, and i strongly recommend doing anything that isnt pogoing to avoid fumbling what wouldve been a clear

for ||bv, try to stay on the ground, you jump is the only ability that will guarantee your dodge when he dashes grounded, and it is also most likely the reason you are getting hit when he isnt dashing on the ground, just always wait until you already see his trajectory, than react accordingly, dont try to predict||
