||hm, I'd check out the place where you got vengeful spirit again. Otherwise longnail is probably your best option. Even if not great||

||that's not a bad build. Try and play very aggressively (of course not tanking hits but trying to keep pressure on the boss. Ideally you use steady for that as it's absolutely insane for the boss but you'd have to unequip defender's crest.

Generally make sure you aren't jumping or dashing around unnecessarily. Stay on the ground and attack lost kin with the nail and with spells. Shade soul for when you're further away and dive for when you're close is good. Only jump if you need to jump to dodge an attack. Only dash if you want to get close to lost kin or need to to dodge an attack. Otherwise stay on the ground.

And make sure you use a lot of spells. Without defender's crest (in case you're removing it) make sure you kill any enemies that are spawning when the boss is staggered before you start healing||

There is also a secret to kill one before the fight.||
