It's all about The Dodge

Because||sly is unpredictable you can't predict which nail art he's gonna use and all the slashes are much bigger which makes Repelling it harder and in The second phase dodging is crucial you need to avoid him more and Hit less||

||sly is 100% consistent and very predictable

• triple swing: walk away, use a wall if necessary (note that he'll keep going in one direction even if youre on the other side)

• downslash: stay just out of range to bait out the second swing

• great slash: dash out then in

• dash slash: jump over

• cyclone: either ddark, pogo (not recommended), or use a wall and run

• sly's timings allow a nart after every single attack

  • great slash on everything except his own great slash, which gets a dash slash on the dash back in
    • punishing great slash with dash slash is pretty tight (i cant hit it every time), could just skip it

• if nail arts aren't an option, ~2 hits with qs/sbody/mop work fine

• if a nail art is being charged in the air, it's cyclone

• if its on the edge, its dash slash, otherwise great slash

• if a move looks like itll have tight positioning, dont bother punishing it

• for phase two: walk away from his side of the arena, punish every spin with a great slash

  • he can rebound from 2-5 times, counting to know when a spin is guaranteed is a good idea
  • dashing is only necessary if hes directly on top, but dashing away anyway is fine (i just prefer to have shade cloak up whenever possible, and the dash is often just enough distance to miss a great slash)
