I was trying to speed up my attempts since || hive knight and elder hu || took up a decent chunk of time that could have been spent dying to || collector and god tamer ||

after you get it, well, it's up to how far did you get before getting lost

but I would strongly advise you to explore ||city|| first

||shriek is actually pretty good against ab elder hu, most of the time u gonna get at least 2 ticks of hits and that is already more damage than a great slash or dash slash would do (40 vs 32 damage). once u get to full soul u want to start looking for opportunities to shriek elder hu cuz on average u r gonna get in more damage with shriek than any other damage source available in ab||

depends on what build you're going for, what are you trying to do, and how you like to play
for ||spells|| - ||shaman stone||. for ||nail damage|| - ||strength||, for healing, ||quick focus & deep focus||, and so on
and keep in mind that some charms ||have synergies, they can influence how other equipped charms work||

so there isn't a best charm for everything

yea i would say its pretty normal, ||it can be hard to adjust to the movement and combat of the game when initially starting out so gruz mother's seemingly sudden movements can be difficult for a new player like yourself. but i would say the safest way to play it would be to wait for her to charge towards you, dodge the attack, then get in a couple attacks before backing off and waiting for her next move. and if she does the crazy slam attack where she goes up and down repeatedly, just do your best to position urself so that u dont get hit on the down slams and u can even get in a hit on each down slam if u get more comfortable against the attack||

||For bosses/enemies that take knockback: if you are facing right while casting it, targets will be knocked inwards so towards you. That way they will stay in the hitbox for the full duration and will take all the hits.
If you are facing left while casting it, they will get pushed outwards so away from you meaning they'll likely get pushed out of the shriek hitbox and not take all of the hits.
The edge gets the same hits as the center tho so when something doesn't take knockback and just stays on the hitbox's edge, it will still take all of the hits.
That being said it's rng whether it hits a maximum 3 or 4 times tho regardless of where the enemy is.||
