That's the problem then. Explore the game around, and then come back. || shade cloak is an ability which allows you to dash through enemies and their attacks without taking damage ||

It doesn't "require" that upgrade. Most players simply have that ability by that point in the game. The boss is beatable without it, but seeing as you're struggling this much, I'm suggesting you go get that ability, upgrade your nail, and come back.

Basically use ||the dive spell as a way to avoid damage since it makes you temporarily invincible, spell twister helps in letting you use spells for cheaoer which means you can avoid more, shaman in the other hand will make it deal double the damage, so use shaman instead of twister if you are going to hit grimm with a lot of those dive dodges||
