i don't see ||quick slash|| as very useful as ||it's not stationary for long enough to get much value out of it, you're usually sneaking in hits as it goes past you||

i wonder if learning the itemless method and mostly just evading that attack might be good for you (just ||properly time jumps, can approach for nail hits too sometimes although sometimes circle jumping is valuable||)

For this boss || for the uppercut just try to shadow dash sneak a hit and avoid the fireballs, the ground root things just dodge, when he kicks down I just avoid and don’t greed, the floating attack is your best opportunity to deal damage and strike on the 3rd or 4th flame thingy (usually 2-3 hits) then for the ballon just jump NOT TOO HIGH and keep moving back and forth then finally the 4 projectile you wanna slip through the first 2 and shadow dash for some hits||

make sure you have a good charm build, and make sure you recenter inbetween every attack
