In this clip, every time I reach the platform after ||dashing||, my next jump input is dropped. There's no input visualisation, so youll have to take my word for it that I press my jump key every time after landing on that platform, and even waiting a moment to make sure Im not in any kind of animation lock, which I dont even know if it exists.
And I can repeat this over and over again, as shown.
so, now Im wondering, is the ||dash|| to blame? Is the shiftkey that I use for it to blame?(even though I have definitely let go of it for a whole second by the time I try to jump)

it might be numlock, but in a different way
there seems to be a weird interaction between the shift key and some of the numpad keys
turning off numlock makes the button not work in its entirety, cuz it's a different button, but if I rebind the button to the button while numlock is off and then play the game with numlock off, that seems to fix the issue, as far as I can tell. however weird that might be
