Phase 1:
Slash Combo (two subsequent slashes and a little mini-cylcone): Either shadow dash through him or dash away from him, and immediately dash away again. Dash underneath the mini-cylcone and heal or land a Great Slash on him. Alternatively, stick to the wall for the two slashes and dash away for the mini-cyclone (you probably won't get time to heal doing this).
Nail Slam (leap and slam of the nail into the ground with a subsequent upward slash): Dash away from him. Either use this as a heal opportunity or land a hit between the slam and the upward slash.
Great Slash: Careful, this does 2 masks of damage. Quickly dash away from him and jump as high as possible, or shadow dash through him – this will cancel the Great Slash, but will trigger a Slash Combo, so be ready.
