while there are some charms much stronger than others, your charm usage usually doesn't decide between having a lot of trouble and easily beating something. What matters more is your strategy, and especially your experience and equipment. This game is difficult but it gives you the freedom to balance it yourself simply by doing what you struggle with later. This game is very open and I really recommend just exploring elsewhere and coming back to what you struggle with later.
That being said if you want to keep going right now, I can suggest some charms if you show the ones you have. Is there anything specific about the fight that you struggle with?

||the attack telegraphs are very short so it can seem very tricky avoiding them. Generally try not to stay in the air for long. Only jump over attacks if you need to and then stay on the ground again. Pay very close attention to her movement and attacks so you'll be able to dodge them. If you notice you get hit by a specific attack very often, try to find out how to dodge them (or ask here) and implement that in your playstyle.
Also make sure you use a lot of spells. Don't try to heal outside of staggers unless you are sure you are safe||

||they are tricky to avoid at first. This kind of just needs more practice and you'll get better and better at knowing where it'll land. Whenever you see broken vessel jump, wait and before it lands, dash out of the way.
For his dashes it's kind of the same, you need to jump in time. Make sure you don't dash for those, as you'll most likely get hit if you do that.
If you want charm advice, you can send an image of the charms you have.

Generally, people often fight this boss very early on, so feel free to simply go elsewhere first and fight the boss later when you're stronger||

||your best options by far are shaman stone and soul catcher. Both of those charms, even in the lategame, are top tier charms with shaman stone being one of the best ones in the game. To make use of it though you of course need to be using spells, which is generally just recommended early on and throughout the whole game||

||quickslash is usually the best charm in the game. Definitely use that. And it pairs incredibly well with steady body so I would always recommend using those together, even if it feels odd at first. Other than that shaman stone again of course. Spell twister, soul catcher, quick focus, grubsong and nailmasters glory are all great||

So effectively they’re identical

||no. They deal the same damage and have the same hp as attuned (with one exception). Only if there is some gimmick like an arena change or so in ascended, that will also be there in p5 but the boss is in its attuned form||

Make sure not to face tank the early bosses. It can be tempting to just not care cause they’re early game battles, but you wanna save your health.
