|| First u need an item called the dreamnail which has something in it called essence
U have to collect 1800 essence
Then go to a lower part of the map called ancient basin
And u will be able to enter a new area called the white palace.
Do the platforming there where at the end u will get one half of an item.

Then go to the far right of the map to get an item guarded by a boss fight.
This later unlocks a different area , called the abyss where u get a mandatory upgrade

Then with that u need to go into another area called queens gardens
Then at the end there u will get second half of that item (first from white palace )

After getting all of that u will be able go to the abyss again and get a new unique charm
With this charm just go fight the hollow knight again ||

If the shade is not there and/or if you wake up next to the kingsmould corpse in palace grounds, then it's a dream death and your fragile charms won't break||
