||afaik whispering roots aren't even necessary for anything besides maybe the old moth lady's final reward, they don't give completion points, personally I find that in trial 3 the nailmaster's charm is really useful and just charge slash in general, it kills primal aspids in one hit as well as a few other enemies in that trial, it especially helps in the part where you can't touch the floor and have to live by walljumping||
