So far, I have been able to beat every boss in the game in under five tries. But I have no idea what to do in colo fools 1. The problem is there doesn't feel like any counterplay to the enemies - for example, primal aspids fly up high in the corner and you cant really dodge their shots without getting hit yourself. Also, I don't know the best way to beat the ant guys and the guys that throw spinny discs. Any tips?||

orbs: the most complex of all attacks, this is solved by dashing under the orbs, or double jumping above em when theyre abt to come at u, this makes them overshoot and hit the ground when they fall.
laser beam: this attack is very slow in normal radiance, so i recommend u js sidestep both, step to the side for the first, then back to where the first one was for the second, and so on for the third.
sword circle: ts one is easy as it has only one sword circle in normal rad too, js jump over it. (ddark when in platforms)
light wall: shade dash thru it. do as early as possible so her attacks dont mesh.

||you can find a pretty easy heal spot when he glides across the screen with energy orbs circling around, you can do it either behind him if youre close to the wall he started the attack on, or in the center of the arena when the orbs are coming back since they can not hit you there||

|| on ground stage you use it mostly to destroy spikes. so for example on horizontal swords you can ddark to take out spikes and simultaneously iframe them, or if you're less confident with orbs its good to ddark them but 9/10 times its to destroy spikes.

In plats its so important, use it if you arent confident in dodging an orb again, but the main way is when you are standing inside absrad and she uses a burst attack (where she glows and does spiral lights or swords) you can just ddark and upslash with the iframes to 2 cycle her (1 cycle in fury / lucky). the other thing in plats to ddark is the big wall of light, if you are halfway or further then she can overlap attacks so shade dash is risky and as such is better to ddark it. then lastly if she uses sword burst (spiral swords) while in an adjacent platform: ddark, its so hard to dodge.

in climb and final stage its literally just if you know you're gonna get hit, you wont use it in an ideal run unlike the previous examples ||

The other reason is if he counters then you cant shade dash and pogoing the counter is unnecessarily hard and not worth it in that scenario ||

So using ||nail arts and spells is a must, so you put on shaman stone and nail master glory, as for the remaining notches it depends, grubsong is amazing in colo, dreamwielder while it may seem niche can let you get back up to full soul by farming the last enemy of any given wave, mark of pride can be good, as is every other soul gathering charm (spell twister, soul catcher…) ||
