he's a matter of rhythm and rhythm alone, once you learn each move and how to counter them he becomes the most consistent fight in the entire game

so just take a few attempts to simply learn them rather than anything else

he's only got like 5

only thing i hate about that fight is sometimes he'll be offscreen and i can't tell if he'll ||shoot needles or dash into me||

I have a very soft spot for ||NKG because he was the first fight in the game that forced me to be good to beat||

hmm I did him quite late but I do think for me when I was starting out he was considerably harder than a lot of other bosses

upon starting the game I didn't even die until ||after greenpath in fog canyon en route to the queen's station||

I let my gaming skill carry me for the majority of the game which hindered me

Because when fights came up that actually required me to be good at ||Hollow Knight|| instead of just games in general it hit me harder than normal

I still did them quickly but it mentally hurt more to suck

No but I played a lot of games deemed difficult and they've always been the main thing I was good at

I platinumed 2 dark souls games when I was 12 for example

I didn't even necessarily deem anything in ||the white palace difficult besides some specific sections of the pop that i later found out i was just kinda doing the non intended route for 💀 ||

||i also died to the kingsmoulds at the end because i wasn't mentally prepared for a fight so i got jumped||

i was mildly annoyed at first but it feels good seeing how good you got at the sections

the difference between this and ||pantheons is you're stuck doing the same shit, there's no time improvements besides just getting good at the bosses themselves||

||so pantheons can be a lot more frustrating||
