This is the path I took as well, I highly recommend ||practicing the parkour segment leading to the traitor child's grave. Alternatively, just use sharp Shadow, it makes the first dash in that room significantly easier so that you don't require a near frame perfect dash to get over those first thorns, and everything from there is easy.||
