||yes, you need the voidheart. 1 part is with the pale lady, whom u can reach after beating the traitor lord, and the other part is in the white palace, for which u need to get 1800 essence first. after that u go into the abyss, find ur egg, play through a cutscene, and you get the void heart||

||Soul stays after thk but health resets so enter the fight with full soul. Use abyss shriek as much as possible, but your main goal is to stay alive so dont spam it when you are attacked. That charm build looks great honestly, i'd have recommended all except heart anyways. Good damage windows are after the face lasers or face swords. Dont heal during attacks, try to just dodge and learn the attacks instead||

||No grubberfly's elegy is quite bad. It stops working when you take a hit and doesnt give soul and the damage isnt that good. Healing charms are a very valid strategy but a spell build is a bit better so if you are fine using a spell build i'd recommend that. Swapping heart and gsong to qf or heart to SoU isnt a bad idea though. If you do, make sure to still use soul on abyss shrieks. You get less soul if the small orbs are filled so dont store it too long||

His downward dash attack is kind of easy, just be careful when he feints.
Don’t be greedy and try to time your strikes after a specific attack he does.
For the dash attack (the one when he just dashes across the screen go and pogo him.
For the homing orbs, go jump in a circular motion with a dash or dash through them entirely if you have shade cloak.
I’m new to this thing correct me if I’m wrong.||

• strength or quick slash (10) - strength does better on chip damage (like sneaking in pogos as they swipe), but quick slash increases hit rate -> soul gen when you can hit repeatedly (so like on fire bats sometimes). i'd probably go strength but it's been a while and i've done itemless before (banning things like dash) so it doesn't matter to me.

for each of them specifically? not really. standard meta is general dps build of ||strength/quick slash + shaman/twister||. personally i prefer nail/heal of ||strength/quick slash + quick focus/shape of unn||. notes regarding my personal build:
||- unbreakable strength is particularly valuable for p5 collector, allowing you to ohko the buffed minions

• quick slash is good general dps and also increases soul generation (due to increased hit rate)
• shape of unn allows healing in some spots you couldn't before, including but not limited to fitting under mantis lords dash in addition to evading things while healing
• quick focus makes healing faster for even easier recovery, and also increases shape of unn move speed||

Its a quick attack and the only one you can get hit by due to mechanics really. ||
