||I think you're having the wrong idea of how metroidvanias work. If something is really important, it'll be fairly obvious or you can't leave or progress without getting it -> you'll automatically get it when exploring and progressing.
Everything else is not super important since you can play and beat the game without it. You'll have to look at your map and explore to find that -> revisit old areas and check the marked unexplored areas of your map whenever you get a new ability||

||well, I guess it can be nice for inexperienced players, but once you learn the attack patterns you can pretty much always do that without it and replace it with a better charm that helps with combat||

It helps with non-combat parts (travel&exploration) with some combat parts (bosses with ground movement) and tends to work well in combo with other ||movement charms||. It's insanely overlooked. Doesn't only applies to starter runs

||I agreed that it is nice for exploration. Since this was about combat it doesn't matter tho.
I don't see why you would need it for bosses with ground movement tho. Dashing is pretty much always faster, except for very short range attacks, which are pretty uncommon and are easily dodgeable without it since sprintmaster doesn't add a lot on such short distances.
Additionally there are some incredibly strong 1 notch charms like steady body, grubsong, nmg or wielder that you would miss out on.||
