I didn't just see this in some yt video and misremember it, my brother guided me to getting to the secret fight and I was shocked by the menu after beating 57 of them. This isn't something where I'm just misremembering some one-off thing I saw, this took me multiple attempts at the fight and everything ||

doesn't want to work you say ... that reminds me of a certain keyboard dependant issue that i was running into - as i had rebound jump to space, i was having an issue where holding [space + up + left] or [space + down + right] would drop the 3rd input and freeze all other inputs until one of those keys were released. i fixed this by moving the movement over to ijkl, but i was unaware of it (and it caused much agony) when doing a certain room where you have to ||pogo and jump while moving to the right||.
