That’s your ||shade, it’ll spawn when you die and contains all your geo before your death and 1/3rd of your soul meter. You can regain both of these by killing it||

Okay so this is my first playthrough, and I want to be able to fight ALL bosses, all encounters dlc etc. so I’m wondering what all I need to be sure to do in order to ensure that. Specific quest lines, etc. I’m also wondering whenever I beat the “final boss” if that ends the game on my playthrough, or if I’m able to go back into the same file and fight other bosses I might’ve missed? Another thing I’m wondering is if it’s possible to fight all bosses on a single playthrough (an example of not this I guess you could say is either fighting big smough or big ornstein from ds1) if that makes sense. If anyone would be kind enough to answers these it would be appreciated as I’m planning on grinding out hollow knight prior to the release of Silksong soon here. Thanks in advance.

||you can indeed go back to your save file after beating the game, dont worry about that, however if you want all achievemnts you will have to do two playthroughs at the very least eitherway, you can indeed beat all the bosses in one play through, but there is one singular boss you may not meet depending on a choice you do early, both paths are required for an achievement||

Depending on your current abilities it may be hard to B line to another one

I would just keep exploring and progressing, prioritizing ||movement abilities like c dash and wings and mask shards for safety|| and then you can go wherever you want for whatever you want

But it’s your playthrough and the most important thing to remember is there is no wrong way to go

||yea godseeker+ also allows for certain customizations within hog fights as well. for example u can set the amount of soul u start with at the beginning of the fight so that u can better emulate p5ab scenarios. u can also set it so that u can practice ascended arenas with half damage (so 1 damage instead of 2, or 2 damage instead of 4). and there are other customizations that u might find useful as well. so for example u can set ur starting soul to be 33 and set half damage and attuned hp in the ascended arena for marmu (and also set ur starting lifeblood to 5 if u feel like it) to emulate the p5ab marmu in hog, so u can repeatedly practice what u would do for that p5ab boss in hog||

Could be that it's different but you conserve the momentum from getting hit there. In the speedrun you can for example open ||inventory ||on slopes

I don't think the current major glitch speedruns do it tho
