ah, so easiest is ||farm small hoppers in kingdom's edge (they respawn on leaving/re-entering the room)||

a faster but harder variant that might not count for your restrictions is to ||speed through colo 2 (trial of the conquerer) in colosseum of fools|| - this is my preferred way as i can do it pretty quickly and it's also not as mind numbing as it takes longer to repeat itself and so needs to be repeated less.

oh yes, if you don't mind potentially spoiling a one time event that you may or may not have triggered, ||if you put enough money (over 2.5k, optimal is 4.5k) into millibelle's bank, bench, and then come back (and smack the stand iirc), they'll leave to the pleasure house in city of tears where you can beat them up to make about 1.5x the money you lost from them taking it||. can make a quick ~2k off of that if you haven't already.

for that you need to keep track of the rhythm they spawn and make sure you at least have ||wings||, if not just being on the ground

assuming full game knowledge, i use ||nail arts as they can out range the shield - great slash when it gets mildly close and is drifting towards me, dash slash at the end of the shield spin is free. they're harder to execute on controller though without probably doing something like swapping attack and quick map.||

2. in the ||dream world if you die it wont count as a loss so you dont have to worry about that as much (except for in the white palace or during the Radiance)||
3. if you're almost dead just exit and re-enter the save file its not worth losing all of it.

getting the flames for grimm takes ages, so skip grimm and banishment, but do summon the troupe for grimmchild (2%, lose a charm notch)
skip awoken dream nail, seer ascension, white palace, and therefore kingsoul/voidheart (3%)
skip colo 3 (1%), as it's the hardest challenge in steel soul
skip grubberfly's elegy so you only need 31 grubs (once you get the pale ore you're set, 1%)||

you could also do pantheon 1 and 2 skip tram pass/the hive entirely (since you don't need the grubs, hiveblood is 1%, hive knight I think is a percent, and the mask shard can be skipped)||
