I wouldn't really recommend mark of pride though. Shaman stone is way stronger. Quick focus would work as well but I recommend trying to use more spells and using shaman stone||

||well, they need to be practiced of course. The only way to do that is to use them over and over again until you get used to them. A nail only build is worse but still viable. But in that case you'd also not use mark of pride but something like quick focus, shape of unn or catcher instead||

||yeah generally shaman paired with no matter what is always good. Spells really are that broken. Nailmaster's glory is great as well but it kind of depends on the boss fight. If you are able to use nailarts well (like on many warrior dreams and some other fights) glory is great. Grubsong or if you use it dream wielder is great for pretty much anything else||

• ||do NOT get greedy. limit yourself to like one or two hits per attack. since hes a really mobile boss, trying to get those extra hits in put you at risk of getting hit yourself||
• ||grimm|is a marathon, not a sprint. his attacks do not change throughout the fight, its the same speed & attacks the whole way through.||
• ||practice finding healing opportunities. i tend to heal during his spikes attack, if i use quickfocus i can usually fire off two heals before his next attack||
• ||shade cloak is really helpful for getting through his bats if you mistime a jump! and dashing midair helps with his dive & dash attack||
• ||if you have shape of unn, you can dodge the bats by healing when he sends them at you. just remember to get out of the way as soon as you're done, or you'll just get hit again!||
• ||when he turns into a little bat, you can attack to get soul, or stop and heal. both work.||
• ||monarch wings help a LOT for the pufferfish attack, in case you dont touch the ground fast enough after jumping fireballs. i handle that attack by sticking to one side of the arena, and jumping only when i have to.||

||also you can use the pufferfish attack as a means of tracking your progress, usually theres 2-4 of them per fight, and ive only ever gotten 2 bat transformations max||.
