What I recommend is that you don’t hold a direction while dashing||, to make the spacing more consistent

It’s a big spike in difficulty compared to most bosses, if you really can’t beat her, you may want to try to get more upgrades (if you send a screenshot of your inventory and charm inventory we could nudge you towards good upgrades)

You should also expect to die to her a lot, so it may be worth to give her a few attempts in which you only try to dodge, just to understand how she works

||use shade cloak. he will always do the big shockwave after throwing three dung balls in a row, so try to save your dash in the moments leading up to the dive. if you're in a pinch, you can normal dash away until shade cloak is back, then shade dash through. if you're really in a pinch, you can ddark to dodge it instead.

How do i fix me not being able to click inventory with my controller? Nothings happening when i click the inventory button?

Save Files

What do save files looks like?

• Each Hollow Knight save file is a user#.dat where # is the save slot for the file
• You can rename user3.dat to user1.dat to set it to your first save slot
• You can keep a copy of all of your save files by copy and pasting them into a different folder on your computer

Reverting Backups

• Automatic backups are called user#.dat.bak#, where the first # is the save slot, and the second # is the backup number. You will usually have your last three backups
• You restore a backup by deleting the main file, and then removing the .bak# part of the backup version

Modded Saves

• A modded save may also have a user#.modded.json (and similarly named backup). This file and the user#.dat are part of the save

Where are the files?

• On windows, the default path for Save Files is:
  • %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Team Cherry\Hollow Knight\
  • You should just copy and paste that path directly into the File Explorer path bar at the top.
• For other operating systems (and Xbox Games), type ?tag saves into chat
